Constellation: Camelopardalis
Distance from Earth: ~8,000,000 ly.
Capture Details: This image comprises of ~8 hours of lights, (220 frames @ 120 seconds each) using an IR-Cut filter, and processed via pixinsight.
Fun facts: This galaxy is naked eye visible, (using binoculars) and is directly overhead January / February. Look north ~20° above the star Polaris. Note that M81 and M82 are also easily observed, (again with binoculars).

M63
Date: April 27, 2025
Name: M63, (Sun Flower Galaxy)
Constellation: Canes Venatic
Distance from Earth: ~27,000,000 ly.
Capture Details: This image comprises of ~8 hours of lights, (250 frames @ 120 seconds each) taken over two oddly cloudless nights on April 17th and April 27th.
M31
Date: September 03, 2025
Name: M31, (Andromeda Galaxy)
Constellation: Andromeda
Distance from Earth: ~2,500,000 ly.
Capture Details: This image contains a total of 7 ½ hours, (435 images @ 60 seconds each) taken over two consecutive and exceptionally clear nights.
This galaxy is easily visible with the naked eye through out the summer / fall.. Once dark ~9.00 pm look to the east and find Pegasus, (big box), then jump from Alpheratz to Mirach(quite bright). M31 will look like a white/greyish fuzzy patch, use binoculars and you can pull out some detail. Also visible in this image is M110, the large galaxy located to the lower right and M32 the smaller galaxy located upper left.
Fun fact: M31 and our own galaxy, the Milky Way galaxy are on a collision course, the estimated time of impact is ~4.5 billion years, give or take.

Constellation: Triangulum
Distance from Earth:~2,750,000 ly
Capture Details: This image comprises of ~16 ½ hours of lights taken over 5 nights, October 18th and the 25th through to the 28th, (500 frames @ 120 seconds each) using an IR-Cut filter and processed via the pixinsight.
